About Us
North Webster High School was formed in 2011 with the consolidation of Cotton Valley High School, Sarepta High School, Shonagloo High School, and Springhill High School, all on the former campus of Springhill Jr/Sr High School. The campus was built in 2006-2008. Presently, NWHS houses approximately 585 students in grades 9 through 12.
When the school was formed in 2011, a new school name, mascot, and colors were all chosen by the students who would make up the school. The school was named North Webster High, with purple, black, and silver being the school colors, and the school mascot being the Knights. During the summer of 2011, excitement filled all of North Webster Parish as the new NWHS students “painted the landscape” purple.
Since 2011, NWHS has excelled both academically and athletically. The school is presently classified as a “C” school with the Louisiana Department of Education. Each year multiple sports advance to post season play in the LHSAA playoffs.
The mission of North Webster High School is to provide the tools to obtain a good education in a safe and caring environment that addresses the total needs of students socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually, so they can become responsible and productive citizens of society
