About Mrs. Sears

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

My formal preparation for a career in education began at Louisiana Tech where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science.  My major was, of course, mathematics and I cannot imagine teaching anything else.  I eventually obtained a Masters of Science in Mathematics – Mathematics Education from Southern Arkansas University.  This degree prepared me to teach college level mathematics courses.

I truly believe that all students can learn.  To that end, I work diligently to help students achieve their goals for mathematics.  I am ready to help any student who wants to learn or who needs help transitioning to the next level (university, technical college, military or other career) and will invest my time in teaching or tutoring all NW students.  Every student who finds success is a teacher’s greatest reward!
